I hate "About Me" sections, but here goes, lol.
So, who exactly is Faith J. Engle anyway, right??
Well, I'm an author. I write primarily lesbian romance fiction. That's where my heart's at. However, I can write pretty much any genre of fiction (.....except for maybe comedy. I mean, I personally think I'm hilarious, but those who know me would tell you that my jokes are super, super corny, LOL!). I have been writing since I was a kid, but have only recently started seriously writing over the past few years and I love it!
I'm 36 years old and will be turning 37 this year (2018). Yes, that is a recent picture of me that you see on this page, lol.
I reside in Ohio, but I am originally from Maryland. I am married and we have a beautiful little boy who just turned 1 recently. I also have 2 other wonderful boys from a previous relationship. Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom after recently quitting my factory job. I have a lot more time to write now, so that's been pretty awesome!!
I am unpublished, but plan to change that. I am currently writing my first novel. That has been a big task to take on, but it's also been rewarding in the process. I hope to have it finished by the end of 2018, however, it will probably be more like summer 2019.
In the meantime, I am writing short stories and posting them here on my website for you guys to read and hopefully enjoy. I also have a plethora of social media platforms where you can follow me as well as get access to content you may not find posted here on my website. The links for those platforms are posted on both my contact page as well as my newsletter page, so be sure to check those out so that you don't miss out on anything.
I refer to my followers and those who enjoy my stories as "J.Birds." There's really no story behind that. I just thought it was cute, lol!
I think that pretty much sums me up in a nutshell. If I had to add one more thing to this "About Me" section, I'd just say that writing is my passion and I put every drop of creativity I have into each one of my stories. Writing can sometimes be a slow process, but I never rush writing a story just for the sake of getting it out quickly. The quality of my stories is of the utmost importance to me. I am very proud of every piece of literature I put out there and I really hope you enjoy reading my fiction.
Lastly, to all my J.Birds and future J.Birds, I thank you for taking the time out to read my stories. It truly means the world to me!
